Rearrangement | Spartans host Hartlepool this Saturday

Blyth Spartans’ arranged pre-season friendly with Hartlepool United will now take place this Saturday (September 12) at Croft Park, behind closed doors.  The match was originally scheduled to take place on September 19 but has now been brought forward a week early.  Due to government advice and National League protocols, we are unable to welcome fans into Croft Park. Arrival | Blackett signs on loan from Gateshead

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce Paul Blackett has joined on a season-long loan from National League North rivals Gateshead.  A former Newcastle United scholar, Blackett, 22, joined The Heed last summer having previously played for Heaton Stan and Newcastle Benfield in the Northern League.  Having struck four goals for Gateshead – including a hat-trick against Consett in the Durham Challenge Cup – Blackett was loaned to Whitby Town. …

Arrival | Ex-Blackburn youngster joins Spartans

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce the arrival of former Blackburn Rovers youngster Connor Thomson.  Thomson, 24, arrives at Croft Park having spent the last two seasons at National League North rivals Gateshead, where he briefly worked under boss Michael Nelson.  As a kid, Thomson spent time on the books of Carlisle United and then joined Blackburn’s academy in December 2014.  He represented the Championship side at under-23s level…

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to introduce Monday evening Walking Football sessions, beginning from next week on September 14. Evening sessions will run every Monday between 7pm-8pm alongside our morning slots – as previously advertised. Refunds | Postponed South Shields friendly

Supporters who purchased tickets for our postponed friendly with South Shields on Saturday can claim refunds from Wednesday. Refunds can be claimed from Croft Park between 10pm and 12pm on Wednesday and Thursday morning, Additionally, supporters can claim their refund from our social club on Thursday evening between 6pm and 7pm.
