The first departure from the first team squad as a result of the reduced playing budget is full back Stephen Harrison.
Harrison has signed for Northern League side Spennymoor Town, with Blyth waiving the need for a 7 day approach, so that he can play for his new club this weekend.
The 28-year-old has made 82 appearances for the Spartans over two spells with the club, scoring a total of 4 goals.
