After last weeks poor performance, this was a good solid team performance between two very closely matched sides. We had a shot cleared off the line that was millimetres from being over, hit the post twice and hit the bar as well as numerous near misses and saves. However, Ponteland also had a shot cleared off the line and hiit the post as well as near misses plus a great save from Matthew Giloney from a free kick well into the last quarter.
