The Blyth Spartans 1899 Club has now sold 150 numbers for the monthly draw – with the Spartans faithful getting behind the relaunched scheme.
This means that a substantial amount will be raised for the clubs playing budget – which Alun Armstrong can use as he sees fit.
It’s not only the fans who have got on board, the management team and the playing squad have also signed up for the scheme.
The more people who join the 1899 Club, the more funds that will become available to the management team.
