TEAM NEWS
Blyth are currently still top of the league after collecting 16 points in our first 7 games. Tonight sees a tough test away to title favourites Salford City in what could be a huge fixture come the end of the season. Salford have started off this season well, with their away form the most notable, picking up maximum points. They are currently without a home win in the three they’ve played and that’ll be something they wish to fix. But Spartans came away with three points away from home at a tricky Ashton United so confidence on the road can hopefully be passed across in the Manchester area.

Robbie Dale got his 7th league goal of the season on Saturday and currently sits second in the overall league standings. He will be wanting to continue his fine form in front of goal by contributing towards the result tonight. Salford City are known nationally by being owned by the ‘Class of 92’ with the likes of Gary and Phil Neville actively supporting the team via social media. It will be a tough test for both sides tonight and can potentially be a pace setter for the remainder of the season.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Anthony Johnson/Bernard Morely – Duo joined from Ramsbottom United in January 2015, gained promotion from the Evo-Stik Premier League North in the summer.

DANGER MAN
James Poole – Joined the club over the weekend, released by Hartlepool United in the summer. Was on loan at Dover Athletic last season.
