Robert Dale has been booked in to have his knee operation on the morning of Saturday 31st October.
Following consultation with the surgeon, Robbie and the club officials it was decided to go for the earliest available slot based on the medical advice. Whilst he has performed admirably through the injury, the prognosis represented too great a risk to the player and a much increased rehabilitation period.
The forward date for the operation has helped to prepare the rehabilitation and allow us to plan for hopefully a return to play for Robbie in the shortest safest period. Based upon experience of similar conditions and surgery we expect Robbie to be back in the green and white (or yellow and red) sometime during late November or early December.
