A selection of photos by Bill Broadley from the League Cup game between Spartans Reserves; League leaders of Division 2 with a 100% win rate and League Leaders of Division 1, Killingworth YPC also with a 100% win rate. Spartans opened the scoring within the first 5 minutes of the game and were two up by half time. Although the visitors were dominant after the restart and looked the most likely to pull a goal back, it was the Spartans who extended their lead to three. Killingworth did eventually pull a goal back, but the Spartans replied immediately with another two to run out 5-1 winners of the tie.
