As the club prepares to release it’s first ever official podcast we can now release the details of what the first episode will contain. The show, in association with Radio Northumberland, will be presented by the station’s Head of Sport Jonny Hall and Spartans Press Officer Mark Carruthers.
Released next Monday the Podcast will feature an exclusive interview with Spartans chairman Tony Platten as he chats with Mark about matters on and off the pitch as well as the issue of attendances at Croft Park and the performance of managerial team Paddy Atkinson and Tom Wade.
Wade will also feature heavily in the podcast as he talks about his hopes for the rest of the season and beyond and reveals just how important the fans and Croft Park in general are to the players.
In the first of our “From the Terraces” feature long term fan Scott Dewhurst will discuss his thoughts on the season so far, which players have stood out to him and how he feels the team are progressing under Paddy and Tom.
Finally Mark and Jonny will discuss just what Radio Northumberland plans to offer Spartans with their coverage and just where the station are at in terms of their FM application.
The club are releasing the podcast in order to improve communication with the fans and since you will be listening we would like your suggestions on what you want to hear on there.
