The 23 year old started his career at Newcastle United and upon his release from the Magpies, he trained briefly with Blyth before trialing with David Beckham’s MLS side LA Galaxy, and subsequently joined Gateshead. The club can confirm that midfielder Simon Todd and defender Darren Craddock have left the club to join Durham City and Whitby Town respectively. The club would like to wish both players all the best at their new clubs and thank them for the efforts whilst at Croft Park.
New Physio Appointed
Blyth Spartans have acted quickly in replacing the departing Gary Neasham with the appointment of Susan Coates as the club’s physiotherapist. Susan spent the previous summer as physiotherapist to Durham Cricket Club second XI and is no stranger to Croft Park having stood in for “Neash” on a number of occasions. Susan will also become Mrs Dale next summer. Welcome Susan.
