Blyth Spartans have announced that striker Jamie Mole has been released. Manager Tommy Cassidy spoke to the player on Sunday morning following his side’s 2-1 defeat at Altrincham on Saturday afternoon. Cassidy, who insisted that the decision was his alone, said that he is on the lookout for a new player or two to bolster his squad’s chances of escaping relegation from the Blue Square North.
