Saturday’s nine goal thriller against Nuneaton saw a full house in the Spartans Sponsors Lounge.
Long term sponsor Graham Moorhouse was visiting his home town from Alberta and took the opportunity to attend the match. Graham set up an Oil and Gas engineering company in Canada and called it Spartek Systems. 
The two other main sponsors were a party celebrating the life of the late Larry Tuck and the guests of Adam Dixon
Also in attendance was Colin Bassam from the Port of Blyth who, prior to the match commencing, presented the September Player of the Month award to Dale Hopson.
Special guests who we also managed to squeeze into the Suite were members of the “Late and Great” Les Mutrie’s family including his brother Archie, who of course also played for the Spartans..
All involved had an excellent experience not least because of the “Goalfest” they had witnessed prior to enjoying the post match hospitality.
