News | Spartans’ Take Sensible Approach to Media

Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce their social media campaign for the 2018/19 Vanarama National League North season.

The Sensible World of Spartans is in essence a parody of the cult video game Sensible World of Soccer – with our social media campaign intent on replicating the games graphics – with our own unique twists.

The club will use graphics replicated from the game to provide fans with information from the club on all social media channels.

Sensible World of Soccer was designed and developed by Sensible Software as the 1994 sequel to their 1992 game Sensible Soccer which combined a 2D football game with a comprehensive manager mode.

“We wanted to go in a different direction with our 2018/19 social media campaign, and what’s a better way the celebrating a game that was the focal point of many a childhood across the world.” Said Media Manager Stuart Dick.
