TEAM NEWS
Blyth face Stafford Rangers on Saturday as they look to secure maximum points to take another giant step towards the league title. Rangers grabbed a point earlier in the season after falling behind to a Luke Armstrong brace.
Spartans have had a week off following their dramatic victory over Rushall Olympic on Saturday afternoon. David McTiernan nodded in his first goal for the club before Jarrett Rivers grabbed the winner in the 4th minute of added time at the end of the game after Stan Mugisha had equalised in the 91st minute.
Stafford meanwhile approach the game in 15th position but knowing that they are safe from relegation and extremely unlikely of being able to make the playoffs. On Tuesday evening, they drew 2-2 at Whitby Town as Brian Barton and Kieran Martin scored.
Blyth approach this game knowing that 10 points from their remaining 7 games in order to mathematically secure the title and promotion.
