A selection of match action photos by Bill Broadley from the game between Blyth Spartans and Lancaster City. Blyth were looking to bounce back after a midweek home defeat to Hebburn Town. Unfortunately, it was the visitors who controlled the game and deservedly took the lead on the 9th minute when Christian Sloan chipped into the top corner. The visitors continued to dominate forcing two great saves from the Blyth Keeper, as well as hitting the woodwork four time.
It was only after multiple substitutions from Blyth in the last 20 minutes that saw the home side finally get into the game, being rewarded for their fightback with a 79th minute equaliser from substitute Billy Gordon.
