TEAM NEWS
Blyth return to league action as we travel down to Crosby in Merseyside to face Marine. The last time the two clubs played this fixture back in March, it ended 3-3 with a last minute Michael Richardson equaliser. A victory on the road could see Spartans rise back to the top of the table, with Nantwich dropping points at Frickley.

Robbie Dale missed the game at Matlock Town in the Trophy due to injury but is expected to return to the fold. Dan Maguire managed to find the goal after 3 minutes, followed by Michael Richardson early in the 2nd half, they’ll be looking to contribute toward the result in the hope to add more points to the tally, pushing us over the 40 point marker. Marine have a solid defensive record for their position in the table but the lack of goals has seen them only pick up 5 wins from 17 matches.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Sean Hessey – Player/Manager – ex Liverpool, Leeds United, Blackpool & Chester City player. Kept Marine up on the last game of the season, beating Blyth 2-1 at Croft Park.

DANGER MAN
Daniel Mitchley – Marine’s top goalscorer in the league, he currently is sitting on 13 goals.
