Spartans’ defender Andrew Cartwright will spend the next month on loan at EBAC Northern League Division One side Ashington.
The England ‘C’ International has been recovering from injury, with Alun Armstrong keen to get some minutes into the legs of Cartwright.
The 22-year-old joined the club in 2015, making his debut against Salford City before netting his first – and only – Spartans goal against Darlington in November the same year.
‘Carty’ has made 79 appearances to date in the green and white stripes and will now look to help the Colliers push for a top-ten finish in the Northern League.
