Spartans now know their opposition for the 2013/14 season after the lineup for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League was confirmed. Champions North Ferriby United and play off winners Hednesford Town have been promoted to the Conference North and Kendal Town and Eastwood Town have been relegated to the North Premier League Division One North and South respectively.
Six new teams join the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League for next season. Former Conference North opposition Droylsden have been relegated whilst Leicestershire based outfit Barwell join from the Southern Premier League. Four teams join from the Northern Premier League First Divisions. From the North Division come Skelmersdale United and Trafford whilst from the South come Stamford and Kings Lynn Town.
