Blyth Spartans supporters Shannon Haley and Eleanor Imrye recently had their heads shaved for charity.
The 18 year olds exceeded their expectations and raised over £1000 for Cancer Research.
The shaving was carried out after a match at Croft Park by Spartans players Damen Mullen and Neil Hooks.
“It was a bit scary,” said Shannon. “But we are pleased we did it. It hurt a little but the hair is growing back slowly. Unfortunately it’s coming back a bit patchy!”
