TEAM NEWS
Blyth have the chance to go eight points clear at the top of the league and a great chance to be heading into 2016 at the top tonight, as we take on Frickley Athletic. Last season saw the Yorkshire outfit take four points from us and a tough fixture is expected tonight. Frickley are currently 13th in the table, with a chance to move up to 10th should they pick up three points. They’ve just come off the back of a 3-2 home defeat to 1883 Darlington in the Doodson Cup, the team who knocked Blyth out in the previous round.

Sean Reid bagged two goals on Saturday and he will be hoping he can continue a run in the starting 11 and contribute towards Blyth’s table topping position for Christmas, which is already mathematically secured. Robbie Dale has gone seven games without a goal, the last coming against Newcastle United’s U21 team.He will be more than desperate to break his duck this evening. Damen Mullen missed the game on the weekend with injury; he will be hoping he has recovered in time to assist in the team working towards another three points tonight in South Emsall.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Carl Rose – Ex Goole AFC, Scarborough, Leigh RMI, Tamworth, Worksop Town, Garforth Town, Rochdale, Barnsley

DANGER MAN
Thomas Davie – scored in the last 2 games for Frickley. The draw at Hyde in the league and in the 3-2 loss to 1883 Darlington in the Doodson Cup.
