After a three week wait to find out just who would be their opposition in the Doodson Sport League Challenge Cup last sixteen, Spartans now know that it will be North Ferriby United who will travel to Croft Park next Tuesday night. The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League leaders beat Sheffield FC 6-3 thanks mainly to four goals from striker Gary Bradshaw in an entertaining fixture at their Grange Lane home.
They will make the trip to Blyth next Tuesday for the last sixteen tie with the winners being awarded an away tie at Eastwood Town in the quarter finals, with that game pencilled in for Tuesday 12th March.
