Another weekend of football came around and this week, we were away to Cramlington Juniors Whites – the only unbeaten Cramlington Juniors team at this age group, so this was always going to be a difficult game. After going down 2-0 at the end of the first quarter, we fought back with goals from Brooklyn and Besty to make it 2-2 at the end of the second quarter. This was a great team performance against a very good opposition. Matthew had pulled off some good saves to keep us in the game and was replaced for the last two quarters by Daniel, who continued to make good saves. However, we couldn’t keep Cramlington out for the whole game and they scored another two by the end of the match to run out 4-2 winners.
