Blyth Spartans can confirm that Michael Barron and Stephen Turnbull will take charge of the first-team on an interim basis.
Barron has agreed to stay on and assist the club whilst it conducts a search to replace Michael Nelson’s after his departure on Wednesday evening.
Club legend Turnbull returns to Croft Park having gained managerial experience at Northumberland counterparts Morpeth Town.
As a player, Turnbull made 206 appearances for Spartans – famously scoring a wonderful free-kick in our 2-1 FA Cup second round win at Hartlepool United in December 2014.
The pair begin their interim period when Guiseley visit Croft Park in National League North on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
Both have said they do not want the job on a full-time basis.
