You will be aware that the Company AGM for the year 2019/20, which typically takes place in early August following the end of the financial year on May 30th, had to be cancelled in 2020 because of Covid restrictions.
It was hoped that as the situation improved, it would be possible to re-arrange the meeting for later in the year. We now know that far from improving the situation seriously deteriorated and we have been unable to hold a shareholders meeting.
We do not see the situation improving in the near future and we are advising shareholders that a digital meeting will be arranged via Zoom. In accordance with the articles of association, we are giving notice that the AGM for the year 2019/20 will take place on Thursday, April 15th at 7.30pm.
If you would like to attend the meeting, please contact the general manager Mike Coulson at generalmanager@blythspartans.com who will take your shareholder information and advise log-in details for the meeting. If you would like a copy of the company accounts, you can request a copy.
You will all be aware that the season was terminated early because of the Covid-19 epidemic and this had a serious effect on the finances of the company.
