Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce that Ryan Hutchinson has been awarded with the Port of Blyth Player of the Month award for September. The month started perfectly for Spartans – as they progressed into the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup, before recording two further victories to rise to the top of the Evo-Stik Premier League. Prior to Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup match, the Port of Blyth’s Colin Bassam was on hand to award Sean Reid with his Player of the Month award for August 2016. Well done Reidy!
Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce that Sean Reid has been awarded with the Port of Blyth Player of the Month award for August. The 24-year-old has started the season in fine form, finding the net in three of Spartans’ opening six Evo-Stik Premier League so far. Reid will be presented with the award prior to Spartans’ league meeting with Sutton Coldfield next Saturday.
The club can announce that the Port of Blyth POTM for April 2016 is Jordan Watson. Jordan has had a fine run of form all season and has been one of most consistent performers this season and one of the most accomplished left backs to play for the club in many a year. Well done Jordan!
Prior to Saturday’s 2-1 EvoStik Premier Division defeat to Skelmersdale United, the Port of Blyth’s Colin Bassam (with help from grandson Bobby Roper) was on hand to award Robert Dale with his Player of the Month award for March 2016. Well done Robbie!
The club can announce that the Port of Blyth POTM for March 2016 is captain Robert Dale. Robbie has been in a fine run of form recently (the run basically stretching back to March 2005…) and topped this off with probably the finest goal of his Spartans career with his half volley from the half way line. Well done Robbie!

NATHAN BUDDLE – FEBRUARY 2016 The club can announce that the Port of Blyth Player of the Month for February 2016 is Nathan Buddle. Nathan returned to the club at the start of the calendar year and has instantly re-established his excellent partneship with Ryan Hutchinson and it is hoped that this partnership can be maintained as we enter the business end of the league campaign.
