The Club has received the following update on the unfortunate injury to Chris in Saturday’s match – “Chris was operated on yesterday morning (Sunday) and has had a pin and a small plate inserted above his ankle. He will be released from North Tyneside hospital (ward 5) this coming Wednesday. The surgeons are confident that a full recovery will be made but unfortunately Chris will not be kicking a football…

Colin Bassam, of Port Training Services, has donated 10 “Arabian” style green and white scarves that he brought back from his last visit to Dubai, the proceeds of which will go to the Anth Lowther Fund, these will be available in the Supporters Club Shop as from tomorrow’s game against Stafford at a price of £5 each.
