The club can announce that Bury’s on-loan midfielder Max Harrop has been recalled by the League One side with immediate effect. Spartans will play a friendly match against South Shields on Thursday 16th February, Kick off 7.30pm. Because of the bad weather over the last two weeks the match will allow both sides to gain valuable practice on a grass surface. The Social Club will be open.

The assistant referee was brought in this morning for a pitch inspection but sadly today’s game has been posponed due to a frozen pitch.
The latest from Croft Park is that should the weather be as is currently forecasted it is likely that tomorrow’s game will go ahead (kick off 3pm) The pitch has been covered and whilst it is still frozen in some places the club are hopeful that this will improve. The club can conirm that Tom Richardson has left the club and returned to parent club Lincoln City. Through a combination of the bad weather and the form of Max Harrop, the midfielder has been limited to only one substitute appearance, but the club would like to thank Tom for his efforts at the club and wish him all the best in his future career.
