Blyth Spartans will play a Newcastle United eleven in a re-run of a game which took place almost exactly 100 years ago. Newcastle United beat the Spartans 4-2 in the 1909 match which was the very first to be played at Croft Park, where Blyth have played ever since. The home club are hoping to reverse the earlier scoreline but also to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation…
