Spartans Sign Robert Birdsall

Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of Republic of Ireland Under-21 goalkeeper Robert Birdsall. The 20-year-old has been playing with Irish side Tralee Dynamos, but has come across to England in order to further his career. Fixture Changes – Workington (Home)

As announced on Saturday the club have rearranged the fixture on New Year’s Day against Workington – This fixture will now take place on Monday 2nd January 2012 (kick off 3pm). SpartansFans should also note that due to Halifax’s draw with Colwyn Bay on Saturday in the FA Trophy, Blyth will no longer travel to ‘The Shay’ tomorrow to face Halifax.
