The club can announce that forward Jarrett Rivers has failed to agree personal terms with Cambridge United where he has been on trial. Jarrett spent the weekend with the League Two club but will now return to the North East and he will be in the Spartans’ squad for tomorrow’s game away at Ilkeston.

Trio return

Spartans’ trio Jordan Watson, Matty Wade and Ryan Hutchinson have returned following a trial match with Alloa Athletic. They played in a trialist team which defeated Dundee United 2-0 during the week. They impressed and were invited back. However the players have decided to remain at Blyth but would like to thank Alloa for the opportunity.

Trio off on trial

Spartans players Matty Wade, Jordan Watson and Ryan Hutchinson have been offered a trial at Alloa Athletic. The trio travel to Scotland tonight in advance of playing in a trial match tomorrow against the first team.
