Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce the signing of experienced centre forward Paul Brayson from Durham City for an undisclosed fee.
The prolific 31 year old, who lists Newcastle United, Reading and Swansea as former clubs, was the leading scorer in the Unibond First Division North with Newcastle Blue Star and will be available for selection for the weekend’s fixtures with Hyde United and Droyslden.
Chairman Tony Platten commented “we are delighted to procure the services of a proven striker and this forms a key component in team building and the ongoing process of developing a successful side that will hopefully see us in the top third of the Blue Square North.”
