MAN OF THE MATCH

Max Harrop

The youngster, on loan from Bury, put in a fine show complete with good ball control, neat incisive passing, effective tackling and, despite his size, he also won his fair share of headers.

He was at the heart of everything good that the Spartans did and nearly capped his fine performance with a goal with a low dipping shot that the Boston ‘keeper could only parry, before saving well from the in-rushing Armstrong.
