MAN OF THE MATCH

Jamie Mole

Mole carried on from where he left off in the FA cup game against Droylsden – with his name on the score sheet along with another fine performance. On signing the former Hearts player last month, Spartans manager Steve Cuggy described Mole as a ‘proper striker’ and he certainly proved this as he terrorised the Colwyn Bay defence from the first whistle.

His build up play was particularly impressive and he deservedly got his goal with a fine strike from 20 yards which left the visiting goalkeeper with no chance as the ball nestled in the bottom corner.
