Blyth Spartans have been drawn at home to fellow Evo-Stik Premier Division side Frickley Athletic in the first qualifying round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.
Spartans will welcome Frickley to Croft Park on Saturday September 3 – as Blyth begin another season in a competition that is synonymous with the club.
Coincidentally, this cup tie will be the first of two scheduled meetings between the sides in September, with Spartans making the trip to West Yorkshire for a league clash on Tuesday September 20.
