Club Statement | AGM date arranged

You will be aware that the Company AGM for the year 2019/20, which typically takes place in early August following the end of the financial year on May 30th, had to be cancelled in 2020 because of Covid restrictions. Funeral service | Gordon Young

The Club has been advised that the funeral of Gordon will take place on Thursday 22nd August at 12pm at the Central Methodist Church in Blyth followed by a brief service at Blyth Crematorium at 1pm. Family and friends are then invited back to the Spartans Club House from 1-30pm.

Gordon, along with his wife Dot and grandson Matthew, supported the Spartans for decades and up until last season could be seen in his regular seat next to the press box in the main stand. EGM – Votes to adopt new Articles of Association

The Club’s Extraordinary General Meeting took place in the Social Club on Thursday 28th February. The shareholders present voted unanimously to ratify the vote taken at the Club’s August 2018 AGM and adopt the updated Articles of Association as prepared by FA appointed solicitors Muckle LLP.
