Dan Groves
In recent games Dan Groves has shown the kind of whole hearted displays which endeared himself to the Spartans supporters last season. This campaign has seen the 21-year-old deployed in both central defence and midfield but he looks far more comfortable in his natural right-back position.
At Altrincham on Saturday Groves dealt with tricky winger Nicky Clee extremely well. He also ventured forward when possible, showing guile and skill in equal measure in an all round top drawer performance.
