GARETH WILLIAMS – APRIL 2009
The season ends with the player who was chosen for the first Port of Blyth Player of the Month also winning the final award as Gareth Williams picks up the award for April 2009.
The last few games of the season saw the Spartans pull away from trouble and the captain played no small part in this resurgence to cap another fine season in Spartans colours.
